Clubs scouting a €25 million breakout Premier League sensation include Tottenham

Tottenham is considering Southampton’s highly regarded talent Tyler Dibling.

Ange Postecoglou is under pressure because of Tottenham Hotspur’s recent poor play and outcomes. The North London team has only triumphed once in their last seven games in all competitions, dropping four to Chelsea, Ipswich Town, Bournemouth, and Galatasaray. They lost to cross-town rivals Chelsea 4-3 at home on Sunday, dropping them to the bottom half of the Premier League standings, seven points behind fourth-place Manchester City, whom they thrashed 4-0 at the Etihad Stadium a few weeks prior.

There are now questions over Ange Postecoglou’s future at the club due to his dismal performance, as sources indicate that his job may be in jeopardy.

However, with the January transfer window approaching, it looks as though the club is supporting the Greek-Aussie strategist for the time being.

As the club leaders try to resolve the persistent problems, meetings are reportedly being held behind the scenes at the Hotspur Way.

In anticipation of a possible transfer, Tottenham scouts have been keeping an eye on Southampton prodigy Tyler Dibling, according to an exclusive report from CaughtOffside.

Southampton’s manager, Russell Martin, has placed a lot of faith in Tyler Dibling, who has shown himself to be one of the team’s most impressive players this season. With nine of his 14 Premier League starts so far, the 18-year-old is having a fantastic season with the senior squad.

The Exeter-born prodigy is technically powerful and adaptable, playing both wide and as an attacking midfielder. In Martin’s 5-4-1 style, he has primarily played as a right-sided midfielder in the Premier League, bringing excitement to the supporters with his dribbling, flair, work ethic, and sprinting ability. But according to the aforementioned article, Dibling’s progress at St Mary’s Stadium is being monitored by Manchester United, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Newcastle United, and West Ham in addition to Spurs. Notwithstanding their appalling standing in the top division, the Saints are adamant that they will not sell their academy star.

With Dibling’s current valuation of €25 million, the South Coast club is currently fighting to cling onto him. Given that they are still fighting for their spot in the league, it appears quite unlikely that they will consider offers for Dibling in the middle of the season.

A club like Tottenham, which has concentrated on acquiring highly regarded players with enormous potential in previous transfer windows, should be able to afford the asking amount for the England youth international. The Lilywhites should not be afraid to make a bold bid in January to test the bottom club’s commitment, even though any move away from Southampton is probably going to happen in the summer.
