Texans Coach Explains Objective Against Titans

This week’s schedule for the Houston Texans is light, although they do play the Tennessee Titans to end the regular season.

The Texans need to recover before the playoffs after their dreadfully bad performance against the Baltimore Ravens on Christmas Day.

The purpose of the Texans’ game against the Titans this week was revealed by head coach DeMeco Ryans.

“We need to go play better if we want to move forward,” Ryans stated. When it comes down to it, it’s about us playing better football. That is all that is important. When we step across those white lines, are we executing? Are we playing football at a high level? That’s all that matters to me. That’s starting with coaches, players, we all have to execute our jobs better and that’s what I’m looking forward to this week.”

The Texans can start the playoffs with confidence against whoever is scheduled to play them if they can play some good football.

Kickoff between the Texans and Titans is planned for Sunday at 12 noon CT inside Nissan Stadium.
